You control the personal information Stovyn holds about you. Use this page to exercise any of your data rights. We verify each request to protect your account, do not charge a fee for a reasonable request, and will never treat you differently for making one.
Your rights
Know and access
Ask what personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we collected it, and who we shared it with, and receive a copy.
Correct
Fix personal information that is inaccurate or out of date. Most profile details can also be edited directly in the app.
Port
Receive the data you provided to us in a portable, machine-readable format so you can move it elsewhere.
Delete
Delete your account and the personal information associated with it. You can start this yourself on the Account Deletion page, and read what is and isn't removed on the Data Deletion page.
How to submit a request
Email privacy@stovyn.com from the address on your Stovyn account, and tell us which right you want to exercise. For deletion, you can also use the in-app flow or the Account Deletion page.
An authorized agent may submit a request for you with written proof of authorization. To protect your data, we may ask you to verify control of the account before we act.
Timelines and appeals
We respond within the period your jurisdiction requires — generally 45 days under US state laws (extendable once where permitted) and 30 days under the GDPR and UK GDPR. If we cannot fulfil a request, we will explain why, and you may appeal by replying to our response or writing to privacy@stovyn.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
