Mount your device
Position Stovyn above your stovetop for optimal coverage. Choose between adhesive or magnetic mounting · no drilling required.
Mounting Options
- 1.Adhesive mount: Clean backsplash surface, peel backing, press firmly for 30 seconds
- 2.Magnetic mount: Attach to metal range hood lip or side panel

Connect to Wi-Fi
Connect your device to your home Wi-Fi network for remote monitoring and instant alerts.
Connection Process
- 1.Press and hold the power button on your device for 3 seconds
- 2.In the app, tap "Add Device" and select your Wi-Fi network
- 3.Enter your Wi-Fi password
- 4.Wait for confirmation (LED will turn solid green)
Supports 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi networks. WPA2/WPA3 encryption recommended.
What happens if Wi-Fi or power goes out
Stovyn needs your home Wi-Fi to push notifications to your phone and send SMS to trusted contacts. If your router or internet drops, the device speaker still beeps locally — but remote alerts pause until connectivity returns. The device runs on its own battery, so a brief power outage doesn't disable it; if your Wi-Fi router loses power too, plan accordingly. Always keep certified smoke and CO alarms in your kitchen as your primary safety devices.
