How to send your device back

All warranty returns are handled by prepaid label — you don't need a fixed mailing address. Submit a replacement request and we'll email you the label and instructions for your region within 1 business day.

Statutory warranty rights by region

The 90-day replacement guarantee above is our voluntary express warranty. In every country we sell, your local consumer-protection law grants additional non-waivable warranty rights that apply on top of (and prevail over) our policy. Nothing in this Warranty waives or limits those statutory rights.

United States — Magnuson-Moss + state law

This is a "limited warranty" under the federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. Your state may also imply warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose; some states (e.g., California, Massachusetts, New York) prohibit limiting the duration of implied warranties below the duration of the express warranty. Where state law conflicts with the limitation above, state law controls. The Magnuson-Moss "Federal Minimum Standards" do not apply to limited warranties.

Canada — provincial Sale of Goods Acts

Each province's Sale of Goods Act implies conditions of merchantable quality, fitness for purpose, and correspondence with description that cannot be excluded by contract. Quebec's Consumer Protection Act adds a "legal warranty of quality" that the device must function for a reasonable time given its price and use. Our 90-day replacement does not displace these statutory rights.

Mexico — LFPC and PROFECO oversight

The Federal Consumer Protection Law requires manufacturers to honor a warranty of at least 60 days for products with hidden defects. PROFECO has authority to enforce these rights and can adjudicate disputes. We will provide a Spanish-language warranty card with the device for the Mexican market.

India — Consumer Protection Act, 2019

The CPA 2019 gives you the right to seek replacement, repair, or refund for defective goods through District, State, or National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commissions, plus mediation under the rules. The 90-day replacement above is in addition to these statutory remedies.

European Union (where shipped)

Under Directive (EU) 2019/771 on consumer goods, you have a minimum 2-year legal guarantee of conformity from the seller. The seller must repair or replace non-conforming goods at no charge. The Stovyn 90-day express warranty is in addition to this 2-year statutory guarantee.
