Getting Started
Step 1: Unbox and Charge
Remove the device from packaging. Connect the USB-C cable and charge until the LED shows solid green (approximately 2-3 hours for first charge).
Step 2: Choose Mounting Method
Select between adhesive mount (backsplash) or magnetic mount (range hood). See Mounting & Placement section for details.
Step 3: Set Up With App
Download the Stovyn app, create an account, and follow the pairing wizard. See Setup section for detailed instructions.
Step 4: Verify Online
Check that the device status shows "Online" in the app. Run a status check to verify battery, Wi-Fi, and temperature sensors.
Step 5: Test Alerts + Status
Test the alert system by running a quick heat test. Verify you receive notifications on your phone.
