Your Privacy Choices

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Stovyn is a life-safety product, not an advertising business. We have never sold customer data and we do not disclose it to third parties for their own marketing. There is nothing to opt out of on that front — but the controls below let you confirm and exercise every choice the law gives you.
We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC)
If your browser or a privacy extension sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information for that browser. Because we do not sell or share personal information in the first place, honoring GPC does not change how your data is handled — but the signal is respected, and no account or sign-in is required for it to take effect.
Choices you can exercise
Opt out of sale or sharing
Already the default. We do not sell or share personal information, so no action is needed. A GPC signal (above) records the preference for you regardless.
Limit the use of sensitive personal information
We use sensitive data — such as precise location for geofencing or trusted-contact phone numbers for emergency escalation — only to provide the safety features you enabled, never to infer characteristics about you or for advertising. You can turn off location and diagnostics in the app Settings at any time.
Opt out of diagnostics
Diagnostic and telemetry collection is optional and can be switched off in the app under Settings. Turning it off does not affect the device's safety functions.
Access, correct, port, or delete your data
Submit a request to see the data we hold, fix an inaccuracy, receive a copy, or delete your account and its data. See the Data Request page.
How to exercise a choice
In the app: open Settings to toggle location, diagnostics, and the Pro camera.
Access or delete: use the Data Request page.
By email: write to privacy@stovyn.com. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right. We verify requests to protect your account, and we respond within the timeframe your jurisdiction requires (for example, 45 days under California law, extendable once where permitted). If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision or writing to privacy@stovyn.com.
State privacy rights
Residents of California (CCPA/CPRA), Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, and other US states with comprehensive privacy laws have rights to know, access, correct, delete, and port their personal information, and to opt out of sale, sharing, and targeted advertising. Residents of the EEA and UK have equivalent rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR, and Canadian residents under PIPEDA and Quebec Law 25. Those rights, and the categories of data we collect, are described in full in our Privacy Policy.
